Description

Triamcinolone is a medication used to manage and treat various conditions such as atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis (e.g., poison ivy), eczema, bullous dermatitis, herpetiform psoriasis, lichen planus, lichen sclerosis, subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, and seasonal or allergic rhinitis.

Mechanism of action

Endocrine System: After binding to the receptor, the steroid – receptor complex binds to chromatin and stimulates the formation of mRNA. The mRNA stimulates the synthesis of enzymes. The anti-inflammatory action is due to inhibition of prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis. The actions of glucocorticoids are
