Tinocordin

Description

This medication is an immunomodulator, prescribed for tuberculosis, bronchitis, asthma, adjuvant in cancer chemotherapy, and other infectious diseases.

Mechanism of action

Tinocordin exerts its action by promoting leucocytosis with predominant effect on neutrophils. It enhances phagocytic and intracellular killing capacity of macrophages and PMN’s, stimulates release of cytokines like GM-CSF, IL1, IL2 and causes the proliferation of B-lymphocytes.
