Mechanism of action
The platelet inhibitory drug dilazep exerts its anti-thrombotic effects by augmenting the adenosine level in the extracellular fluid through inhibition of adenosine transporters.
Dilazep is a member of the class of diazepanes.It is a potent adenosine uptake inhibitor that exhibits antiplatelet, antianginal and vasodilator properties.
