Description

Clozapine is an atypical or second-generation antipsychotic drug used in treatment-resistant schizophrenia and to decrease suicide risk in schizophrenic patients. Clozapine is a tricyclic dibenzodiazepine, classified as an atypical antipsychotic agent.

Interfers with binding of dopamine at D1 and D2
receptors in Central nervous system.
